Prop Firm Discounts: Compare the Final Payable Amount

A percentage discount is only one part of a purchase comparison. Save the eligible product, undiscounted base, promotion conditions, final payable amount and currency. A larger percentage can still produce a larger outlay.

Identify what the reduction applies to

A promotion may refer to an entry fee, an add-on or a restricted product. Check the actual official conditions and checkout before assigning a saving. A search phrase such as discount code does not prove a currently working code or a reduced price.

This article does not publish a HashHedge discount code. Its referral URL identifies an affiliate relationship; that fact alone does not establish a customer discount. Keep promotion evidence separate from the referral code and from any later commission.

Compare two fictional baskets

Basket A has a 120-unit eligible base, a 20% reduction and a fixed 8-unit charge. Its payable amount is 120 − 24 + 8 = 104. Basket B has a 100-unit base, a 10% reduction and no other supplied charge, giving 90. The larger headline percentage did not produce the lower total.

If one basket is in another currency, retain the quoted total and the dated conversion actually used. Do not insert a current exchange rate from memory or assume a reference rate equals a card debit. Taxes or other charges that are not supplied leave the all-in comparison incomplete.

Preserve the offer after the calculation

Save the source date, relevant terms and final amount before a purchase. This site’s earlier number-convention resource can help prevent a decimal-comma input from becoming a different numeric amount. A later page edit should not silently replace the price record used for the original decision.

Use the optional HashHedge link to inspect the current offer and conditions. It is not labelled as a discount. This worksheet does not apply a coupon, create an order or forecast that a purchase will be recovered through trading.
